Nonprofit organizations find it incredibly challenging to get donors to give monthly. Using a combination of adorable photos and compelling reasons why monthly giving is a great way to support the organization, this campaign showed that it is possible to get donors to change their giving behavior.
Winning format and strategy for sponsorship
Like people, pets sometimes have special needs too. Here, we featured the adorable Little Man to get existing donors to open the outer envelope.
We also leveraged the same format for both the recurring donor and sponsorship packages, which contributed to the success of this campaign. The sponsorship version let donors choose the special-needs animal they wanted to support by becoming a monthly sponsor.
